HOW PROVE IT WORKS
Prove It is built around free public challenges. Browse open challenges, make picks before lock, or sign in to create a challenge people can answer and share. Managed media programs are available when an organization needs oversight across stations, shows, publishers, or sponsors.
Open Challenges
Prove It lets people play free prediction challenges and create free challenges to share.
- Anyone can browse open challenges.
- An account is required to create a challenge or keep your challenge history attached to you.
- Creators must use clear prompts, posted lock times, and outcomes that can be resolved with proof.
Free To Play
Public Prove It challenges are free. No purchase is necessary.
- Free public challenges do not require payment information.
- There is no sportsbook-style wagering in public challenges.
- Paid entry contests are not live and cannot accept entry fees until compliance and payment gates are approved.
Challenge Format
A challenge is a short set of picks with a posted lock time and a public scoring method.
- Some challenges are yes-or-no; others may use multiple-choice or bracket-style picks.
- The challenge page shows the available picks, scoring, lock time, and current leaderboard.
- Managed media challenges can include a host, sponsor, station, show, or publisher property.
Locks
Every challenge shows when entries close.
- Picks lock at the posted close time on the challenge page.
- Picks cannot be changed after lock.
- Entries submitted after lock are not accepted.
Scoring
Challenge scoring is shown on the challenge page before entries close.
- Each pick has a point value or scoring rule.
- Leaderboards update after results are resolved.
- Resolved challenges should point back to public facts, operator proof, or partner-provided proof.
Managed Media Challenges
Radio, TV, print, and digital partners can run managed challenges when they need oversight.
- Managed programs can include approval workflows, sponsor placements, host answers, and recap proof.
- Partner access is separate from normal member access.
- Any local giveaway is governed by the applicable organization or sponsor rules.
Account and Entry Data
Prove It collects the basics needed to run challenges and prevent abuse.
- Your display name appears on the public leaderboard.
- Your account can keep your picks, creator tools, and challenge history attached to you.
- Email reminders and recap messages remain opt-in where offered.
Paid entry contests are not live. Public challenges are free to play, and any future paid version will stay locked until payment, tax, eligibility, and compliance controls are approved.
